We are looking for attorneys with at least 5 years of law practice experience, including previous employment at an AmLaw 100 and/or Chambers and Partners USA rated law firm, who take as much pride in their integrity as they do in their work product, and who have a strong grasp of business issues and concerns. We seek to hire those with as much of a talent for finding solutions to issues as for identifying the issues themselves.

Given our unique business model, not only is BLP a logical option for former big law firm attorneys who have left their big law careers due to life circumstances such as pregnancy/maternity or retirement, it is also an increasingly sensible alternative for existing big law firm attorneys simply looking for a shift in live-work balance such that they could continue to earn a comfortable living while spending a lot more time doing other things they enjoy, such as spending more quality time with their loved ones, traveling, or indulging in hobbies that have long been neglected due to the constraints and stresses of big law firm life.

Current Needs:

We are currently looking to hire corporate attorneys and commercial real estate attorneys located in Southern California who have broad transactional expertise. Corporate attorneys should have significant experience handling venture capital, m&a, debt and equity financing, and general corporate matters.  Real estate attorneys should have significant experience handling purchase & sale, financing, leasing, development, and joint venture matters.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of law practice experience, including previous employment at an AmLaw 200 and/or Chambers and Partners USA rated law firm. Available positions are ideal for those interested in working as little as 15 hours per week or as much as 35 hours per week.
